How I work

This is what a full project looks like, from the first call to the photo shoot. If yours is smaller it will have fewer steps, but the order is the same: first you decide, then you draw, and only then you build.

1

First call

We start with a call of around 20 minutes to get to know each other, to understand what you need, what you expect from the project and what state the property is in. Afterwards I send you a short form to gather the main details.

2

Proposal and quote

With that information I put together a tailored proposal setting out the scope of the work and the fee for my services.

3

Contract and survey

Once the proposal is accepted, we sign the contract. I then visit the property to take measurements and prepare the survey drawing.

4

Space planning

I work on the layout to find the solution that is most functional, most comfortable and most consistent with what you need.

5

3D design and visualisations

I develop the 3D model and the visualisations so you can see how the space will look before the renovation starts.

6

Renovation budget

I prepare an estimate for the whole renovation, covering materials, the main items of work and everything needed to carry out the project.

7

Technical documentation

I hand over the technical drawings the trades need to carry out the project properly.

8

Carrying out the works

During the works I stay with the process, answering questions, adjusting details and helping the design become real.

9

Styling and photo shoot

At the end I put the last decorative touches in place and, if the project includes it, we organise a photo shoot to document the result.

Not every project goes through all nine steps. In the five services you’ll see where each one stops: the consultation ends at the first, the concept project reaches the documentation, and the turnkey project goes all the way.
